Christopher has been involved in Ministry for over twenty six years, his Ministry began in 1992 as a Lay Preacher and then following his Ordination as a Parish Priest,Community and Psychiatric Chaplain.

I am a bit of a workaholic and have am involved in a number of activities outside of my Ministry, although I find plenty of time to spend with the family, which is my Priority alongside my vocation.

I enjoy visiting historical sites in the West Country , particularly Glastonbury with all its colour and vibrancy – my wife and I love the eclectic mix of spiritualities and beliefs. I also LOVE Wales – its my ancestral homeland and I consider myself as Welsh !

I enjoy reading, watching films – particularly those starring Clint Eastwood (The good old Spaghetti Westerns) and Sci-fi . I enjoy food and cooking – I am told by one of my grown up daughters that my baltis are better than takeaway ones (I don’t agree).

I am a Vegan.I am a member of a Napoleonic era re enactment society. I enjoy going to museums – oh and I simply love the sea !

I have to say also that I enjoy the Ministry to which I have been called. I love meeting people, and being able to share special life moments with them. It is an indescribable privilege to do so, and I never feel worthy of my calling – but somehow the very imperfect person that is me is able to offer unconditional Love to all. I feel it a huge privilage to be able to Minister to anyone, beyond traditional divides of belief or groupings - I am just there for ALL without exception trying to offer unconditional love.

Since setting up this Chaplaincy, I am at last free to be a Priest - to be there for ALL, not with any agenda except Love. I am not required to convert, condemn, chastise or to persude you to think and do things MY way or anyone else's way for that matter. I just enjoy meeting people in their diversity where they are at and celebrating their life's journey with them, whatever their beliefs.
